Other Projects:
Tiger:
I studied the prey-predator populations and threats to their environment. As an intern with Center for Wildlife Studies (CWS, WCS), I was responsible for monitoring the Tiger and it’s prey populations.
I was also carrying out a study on human impact on the natural resources by the adjoining villages and tribal.
Four-horned Antelope:
Worked on the Conservation Leadership Program (CLP) funded project on the ecology of the Four-horned Antelope (Tetracerus quadricornis). I studied the foraging ecology of the antelope and the effect of fire.
I was also involved in understanding the dependence of local communities on forest and carried out several conservation awareness programs.
